New to Diamond Buying?

If you are new to diamond buying, we recommend you check out our Diamond Education page. There, we have easy-to-follow descriptions and images to help you navigate the world of diamonds.

Every gemstone is rated according to the 4Cs: cut, color, clarity, and carat weight. By understanding these ratings and how they affect a stone’s appearance and value, you’ll be able to choose the best of diamonds like a pro!

Our Process

    1. Choose a setting

The type of metal, band design, and setting arrangement all contribute to the unique look of the ring.

    1. Choose a center stone

Classic diamond? Special morganite? We have plenty of options to suit your budget.

    1. Digital design

Using CAD software, we’ll create a digital model of your custom design.

  1. Creation and shipping

After your ring has been created, we’ll send you photos to approve and ship the ring to your door.

Then, all you have to do is propose!

Pricing

The price of a custom ring can vary based on a number of factors, including the diamond size, cut, and band material. Of course, the bigger the diamond is, the more expensive it will be. Quality is another factor.

We understand all these variables, and we’ll guide you through the whole process. We’ll provide you with a quote for the ring you desire, and we’ll work with you to modify the design in a way that fits your vision and your budget.

Below, you’ll see our starting prices based on the carat weight of the center stone of a Natural Diamond.

Financing Options

Affording the ring of your dreams is easy with our different payment plan options!

We understand that a custom ring is a big investment, and we want to make it easy for you. If you do not want to pay the full cost upfront or in cash, we have two different financing and payment plan options available.

  • Online Financing
  • We offer financing through Affirm or in-store. These plans allow you to choose your payment schedule, minimizing the effects of interest.

  • Layaway and Installments
  • After you make your deposit, you can finish paying for the ring with monthly installments. We aren’t picky about how much you pay each month. Once the ring is fully paid off, we will ship it to you!

We do require a 20% nonrefundable deposit to begin the creation of a custom ring. This deposit may be to reserve a particular diamond, so the stone of your choice isn’t sold to someone else. If you change your mind, you may use the deposit as in-store credit for any other item you are interested in.

    Upgrading Your Ring is Easy

If you decide, down the road, that you want to upgrade your ring, we’ll accept the full value of your old ring in exchange for your creation of your new ring.

Whether you want an entirely new creation or a larger center stone, if you trade in the previous custom ring, we’ll deduct that cost from the new ring. For example, if you purchase a $3,000 moissanite ring and you want to upgrade to a diamond ring of $10,000, we would honor $3,000 towards the new ring with the return of the old ring.

When you buy a custom ring from David’s House of Diamonds, you get a jewelry partner for life!
